VMA – Important Public Announcement

Broadcast via radio, TV, SMS and outdoor sirens during serious incidents.

Hesa Fredrik (outdoor siren)

The outdoor siren is tested on the first non-holiday Monday in March, June, September and December at 15:00. In a real event: go indoors, close doors, windows and ventilation. Listen to Sveriges Radio P4.

SMS alerts

During major crises, SMS messages are sent from the 112 system to mobile phones in the affected area.
