Cornelis Vreeswijk

Cornelis Vreeswijk (1937–1987), born in IJmuiden, Netherlands, moved to Sweden at age 12. He became one of Sweden's most beloved song poets, embodying the bohemian era of 1960s and 70s Stockholm. Classic works include 'Felicia adjö', 'Veronica', 'Somliga går med trasiga skor' and 'Cecilia Lind'. His jazz-influenced visa tradition remains deeply influential.
